Joanne serves as National Underwriter for Chicago Title’s New York National Commercial Services (NCS) operation. She began her career in title in 2012 performing coop lien searches. Joanne became a national commercial escrow officer and national junior underwriter while attending law school in the evenings. She worked for a minority-owned title insurance agent and has closed hundreds of commercial transactions nationally, including industrial, energy project, multifamily, mixed-use, and hotels. Joining the NCS in 2022, Joanne is responsible for handling all types of transactions, from small parcels of vacant land to large-scale multi-site deals.

Joanne is admitted to practice law in New York and Texas. She has a B.A. in Sociology and Public Policy from Franklin and Marshall College and earned her J.D. from New York Law School. Joanne is the winner of the D. George Levine Memorial Award for the highest grade in the law of Real Property (New York Law School). She and her husband live in Houston, Texas with their cat and two dogs. Joanne enjoys baking in her spare time.
