Kristen Simat serves as Underwriting Counsel for Chicago Title’s New York National Commercial Services (NCS) operation. She joined Chicago Title in 2013 and currently handles both commercial and residential transactions.

Prior to joining Chicago Title, Kristen was National Clearance Counsel for Title Associates. She also worked for a boutique Italian law firm representing Italian clients in the purchase and sale of New York properties.
Kristen participated as a CLE panelist on bankruptcy matters entitled, The Effects of Bankruptcy on Real Property Transactions. Kristen received a B.A. in Sociology from Fordham University and a J.D. from New York Law School. She is a member of the New York Bar Association and is fluent in Italian
