Mark Marmer serves as Vice President and Counsel for Chicago Title’s New York National Commercial Services (NCS) operation. He manages, underwrites and closes large, multi-site transactions nationwide.  Mark joined Chicago Title in 2010 bringing with him the knowledge and experience gained from his eight years as an associate in the real estate and private equity groups at one of New York’s most prestigious international law firms as well as four years as a real estate investment banker at two different advisory firms.  Having been a consumer of title insurance products and services on behalf of institutional buyers, sellers, and lenders for fifteen years enables Mark to anticipate clients’ needs and find solutions even before issues arise.

Since January 2011 Mark has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Hunter College of the City University of New York teaching Business Law courses to undergraduate students in the accounting and economic departments. He received his A.B. in 1990 from Harvard College where he concentrated in economics.  Mark earned his J.D. in 1995 from New York University School of Law receiving Order of the Coif honors.  He is a member of the Bar of the State of New York.
